Custom Sized Built-ins
For 15 years Urban Homecraft has been designing and fabricating custom built-ins for new York City Homes
Our most popular designs are now offered as semi-custom pieces. These are custom-sized and made with the same level of craftsmanship as our fully-custom pieces, but at a lower price point.
Save 20% with a semi-custom approach
The City Living Collection is for clients that do not need the full-custom treatment. If you find that your project needs an extra touch, we can always switch over to our fully-custom process.
Three Pieces to Make Your Home Work for You
Wardrobes
Designed to make the most of a bedroom’s limited space, a wardrobe can be free-standing or built into a nook, or an old closet.
It is comprised of drawers on the bottom and doors with hanging space & shelving up top. Use the space you have to the fullest, and make it look good at the same time.
Living Room Built-in
This clean simple design has lower closed cabinetry for hiding stuff away, and plenty of open adjustable shelves above.
The durable solid-surface counter resists damage, and internal wire channels allow you to keep your electronics out of view, while concealing & managing all associated wires & cables.
Dresser
With a durable solid surface counter and ample drawer space. This piece can add functionality to a bedroom, dining room, or hallway. The 18” depth is ideal for tight bedrooms and passageways.
The Design
Once we have measured your space we will decide how wide and how tall the piece needs to be, as well as how to deal with any obstructions.
We take total width and break it up into sections - each section can be a maximum of 32 inches wide.
From there we put together a photo-realistic rendering and design packet for you to review.

Our Process
1: Schedule a Call
Send us a high quality photograph of the space for your City Living piece, and we’ll schedule a time to talk with you about how best to integrate it into your home.
2: Take a Look at Your Estimate
We will send an estimate for your City Living piece as well as for a full-custom version.
3: Schedule a Survey and Design Review
If you decide you would like to move forward with a City Living piece, we will collect our first payment, and schedule a visit to complete a survey of the space. We’ll also schedule a phone call to discuss a fully-rendered vision for the piece, and to make sure you are aware of all of the details in the design.
4: Approval, 2nd Payment and Scheduling Installation
Once you have approved your design, we collect our second payment and schedule a date for your installation. Installation time will vary with the size of the piece and the size of your home.
5: Completion and Final Payment
After we have completed installation and answered any remaining questions for you, the third & final payment is due.
